Privado Apartments Reaches 50% of Units Sold as Construction Accelerates, Important Legal Updates For Buyers

The Privado Apartments residential project marks another important milestone: 11 out of the 22 apartments have already been sold, confirming strong buyer interest in the project’s architecture, location, and construction quality.

🏗️ Construction progress – what this means for future residents

Works on site are progressing steadily, with several key stages already completed or close to completion:

🔹 Exterior

  • The curtain walls and ventilated façade are being installed, two elements that offer concrete benefits for future residents:
  • improved thermal and acoustic insulation
  • enhanced energy efficiency
  • long-term protection against external factors

🔹 Interior

  • The elevator has been installed, meaning the building’s vertical circulation system is now fully functional.
  • Bathroom finishes are underway
  • The thermo-hydraulic modules (MTH) are already installed — these represent the “heart” of the heating system:
  • they efficiently control energy consumption
  • they ensure uniform heat distribution across the apartment
  • they reduce the risk of temperature fluctuations
  • they contribute to lower maintenance costs

In short: construction has reached a stage where buyers can already see the final shape of the project, with major technical elements nearing completion.

📜 Information on the new legal conditions regarding down payments

The newly introduced Law 207/2025 on construction quality sets updated rules designed to protect buyers who purchase homes during the development phase. For Privado Apartments clients, these changes provide:

✔️ Increased financial security

The down payment made by buyers must be deposited into a project-dedicated bank account, and the use of these funds is strictly regulated. The money can only be used in line with the physical progress of construction, significantly reducing financial risk for the client.

✔️ Full transparency at signing

Pre-sale agreements can only be concluded after meeting clearly defined conditions (such as recording the building permit in the land registry and providing updated documentation). This gives buyers the guarantee of a transparent and verifiable legal process.

✔️ More stringent quality control

The law requires additional technical inspections throughout the construction process. For Privado buyers, this means closer monitoring of the execution and, implicitly, a higher overall quality standard.
